I had pondered such an idea for several years yet never thought it would be accepted, especially here in the U.S. However with our recent disasters due to several hurricans, I can't believe your building concept has not been implemented. I know for a fact how indestructable these containers are and they would be excellent for the rebuilding of the New Orleans area.

I bought a used refer container for storage but had to move in because I ran short of time to get a structure built. I love living in this thing, it's pretty private no windows, and it stays right around 60 deg. f. with a small electric heater. I was wondering if anyone was doing anything like this for real. I am suprised that with composting toilets there wasn't more being done in this feild. My idea was to make modular inserts that would slide into the container. I would like to hear more and see more. THANK YOU
