World Processing

Ingo Gunther’s World Processor, is a collection of globes each addressing and processing global issues. This method of visualization elegantly grants an intuitive and immediate understanding of the issues being addressed. Take for example his globe of rain forest depletion. It shows nothing more than a simple colouration of rain forest existence and depletion, yet the figures project just enough information for the viewer to derive its context in our world and the image is burned into memory immediately. Haunting.

Thanks, Pete. Sorry it took so long to post this.
