txtkit : Collaborative Visual Text Mining
May 12th, 2005 | Filed under: Internet, Mapping, Programming, Social | 3 Comments »
txtkit (OSX) by Schoenerwissen/OfCD and Hans Ulrich Reck is an Open Source text mining tool for visualizing, managing, sharing, and exploring large amounts of multilingual texts. The interface promotes a collaborative effort to share and suggest text through a dynamic display of user activity and textual information. (demo video)
As fas as I know, txtkit was created by Schoenerwissen aka Anne Pascual and Marcus Hauer, not Hans Ulrich Reck. I don’t know if he was involved somehow, but the link goes to a Schoenerwissen page and I know from talking to Anne and Marcus in person that it’s their project.
Their main web page is here: http://www.sw.ofcd.com.
Corrected. Thanks.
No problem. Thanks for a great blog!
